I have not read the full manga but if the upcoming episodes are remotely similar to ep 3 then it should be banned or something. Like how are we supposed to get invested in a story where the mc's main desire is to touch bbs. I mean its okay as a side motivation but they literally remind us 2,3 times per episode. How desperate can people be for some 2d tits. I really hope that the story is fast paced with less emphasis on that bbs shit otherwise it will feel like a parody of a real anime.

Death Note took 10 mins within the first ep to hook you up.

By the second ep L already pinpointed his location to Japan.

but OPs assumption that it will be like Death Note is just stupid. If you listen to these weebs who only surface when a manga they discovered gets adapted everytime, you will just get baited into oblivion.

Chainsaw Man is worth watching as your seasonal anime. It has not achieved that "greatness" yet but I bet a lot of people will enjoy it. But having expectations just because of hype online is just stupid.

If ur looking for a death note/code geass story then u aint gonna find here dude. chainsaw man is a battle shonen which deviates from the normal cliched developments, hence why people found it a lot more interesting then say most shows these days.

Nah forget the story. In ep 3 when the mc comes out of the rubble after the bat devil does his echo shit the first thing he says is -"I couldnt cop out a feel of her tits" . Thats lazy writing in my view and ruins any feel/tension in the fight. The closest resemblance i can think of is one punch man where his sole purpose of life is to find a worthy opponent but that anime is supposed to be funny/anti climax

I’ve read the first 20-30 chapters and am caught up to the anime. I simply don’t understand why people are saying it is peak writing. I like it but I certainly haven’t gotten that impression so far.
