3-0 - BIG: BIG has been a very consistent team when it comes to bo1s. Obviously its a hail-mary pick, nothing is confirmed here with them playing with a stand in (s1n who has been incredible in academy). I believe they will sweep the BO1s and might even win a BO3 vs any good team in the stage (no matter how unlikely it is). They face Furia in the first stage, either that makes this pick completely wrong or BIG prove me right here by beating Furia. I won't count out upset potential.
0-3 - Greyhound Gaming: This pick is between Greyhound and IHC. I personally think they'll meet in the 0-2 stage (if either meet any other team, both are going out 100%) and based on recency and how things have been going in the APAC region, I think Greyhound are bound to lose to IHC. They face OG, glhf in advance.
Qualifications - Cloud9: A strong pick for the 3-0 but obviously we won't do that, won't leave that pick to chance if they throw it ruins everything. They're the team to beat in this major and are jaggurnauts going into Legends stage too, I think they'll probably go upto Champions but thats me. They face fnatic in their first game, ez for them.
Qualifications - Vitality: ZywOo POG. No explanation needed. They face imperial first, should be easy.
Qualifications - Outsiders: Again, based on recency, Outsiders are a strong team and I do not think they'll be going out before legends atleast. Jame time strong boys, believe that. They face Mouz, ez dub for Jamie boi (unless he saves too much).
Qualifications - Furia: One of the best teams in Brazil. There's no chance they go out this quickly with the players they have. They face BIG, i side with BIG in this one, weird pick but it is what it is, the upset potential is high and BIG are a BO1 onliner team.
Qualifications - Gamerlegion: A strong performance in the RMR, beating G2, Narrowly losing to faze and Spirit. These guys have great potential and I feel like over OG, Mouz, 9z, BNE and Fnatic, these guys have the edge. They face 9z, difficult one to guess but i'm with GL.
Qualifications - Imperial: Experience and Brazil buff. Won't suggest to go with them but i feel like they might manage. They face Vitality first, can't win that lol.
Qualifications - 00Nation: Do not sleep on them. You cannot sleep on 00Nation. Coldzera with his recent performances is a monster. Taco is a fine IGL. Latto and Dumau are their young guns, they're consistent and very good at what they do. Try is their dark horse. On a good day this guy is up there with the best and on a bad day you won't see him go below Degster. I believe this team is going to make it to champions stage personally (if they don't, don't bully me pls). They face BNE, difficult one to guess and the winner is going through, IMO and i side with 00N.
Unqualified - Evil Geniuses: I'm surprised they made it this far. They're absolute trash. They face IHC, should be fairly easy but trust me, they're trash, IHC has a chance.
Unqualified - OG: Degster can only carry so far can't he? They should rename the team to Degster and friends ongod. They face greyhound, should be fairly easy.
Unqualified - BNE: Solid team, solid performances throughout the previous major, went as the unexpected dark horses but that only takes you so far. Losing to 9INE twice in the recent games with a 0-2 is just disappointing. I feel like they'll be below standard this major with the crowd all over them (obv the feel is different, the inexperience will hit them up now) and they'll probably go 2-3. Not a team to sleep on though, faces 00Nation first in the major, the winner of that game probs going through IMO. 00N takes this.
Unqualified - Mouz: Difficult one to rule out but torszi / torzsi whatever it is needs to be unleashed. He's been caged by Dexter and if they let him free, he'll be a GOD. On recency again, i've seen him get destroyed by virtually everyone and thats my expectation coming into the major again. It all depends on one guy for me, JDC is consistent, dexter, xertion are subpar while frozen when playing good claps. They face outsiders first, a team they lost to in Rotterdam finals so yeah, GLHF.
Unqualified - 9z: Another difficult one to rule out this early. This team has been wreaking havoc all over the teams they face honestly but i feel like they won't go too far in the major. They face Gamerlegion in their first game, a tough game but i feel like GL takes it.
Unqualified - Fnatic: The most difficult choice i've had to make but i feel like this team is way too young into their new IGL's reign. The danish duo is overrated AF, just 1 run and everyone's picking them up sounds really stupid to me (HooXi same case btw). I doubt Fnatic would be able to do anything this time around. They face C9 in their first game, ez for C9.
Unqualified - IHC: Easy one, don't need to explain ig. They face EG, IMO they do have a chance in that game.
