No, they negotiate your contracts. Teams try and get deals done before your contract runs out. Like TenZ he deal ends Dec. so they negotiate for a new term.

He may just want to do more sponsorship deals since he's streaming more and also renegotiate his current contract to fit the league standards. He may have been making below the minimum of 50k.

50k. a year? I thought most pro val players where making far more then that, i read somewhere where most t1 teams pay there players like 30k a month, is that wrong?

He hired a talent and management agency to handle promotions, contracts, etc for him so he can focus on playing. He's not going anywhere. Lot's of pro's have agents.
