if loud manages to be consistently good this coming year, then they will overtake optic. However, it will be extremely hard. All eyes will be on them. vods reviews will go crazy. its honestly gonna be super impressive, since franchising allows for super teams to be formed from each region.

loud will have an advantage going into this kickoff tourney considering most teams will have new players and will be fresh. after that the game could have changed with agents and maps and meta changes so who knows how that plays out

Every team is trying to beat them on Ascent since Iceland and they couldn't do it. Loud already has the map pool and probably the roster. Even if the teams target them will be hard to do it in short period of time. The new teams will need to start practise fast.

as long as they keep banning pearl they are fine because holy that map just brings me nightmares till this day

They have 4-5 months to become good in it, remember that champs was the first time pearl had ever been played at high stakes games so there wasnt a meta around it
