how did EG get in, like i understand they're in the lcs and they're a good team there, but they don't t put out much (or any?) content afaik and i have never seen an EG flair on this site

Yeah, but they invest heavily in Esport side, not content side. They are also very trusting org in long term (look at their LCS / CSGO team invest)

They have been financially one of the best orgs I guess that's one of the main reasons, and out of all the teams in Americas i can see them buying the whole optic roster if they decide not to split up

They've been a stable org for two decades. One of the longest standing orgs.
Reliability in funds is one of the most important aspects. It's why Acend wont get in. Money tied with crypto, so unreliable.
