im sure the larger foreign orgs will buy the sea players and rosters out but this damages the endemic scene if the local orgs don't get an opportunity

KR orgs are not gonna buy any sea player . Fanbase is important for growing KR valorant and mixed roster will result in no support from either side

SEA orgs have both idk what u referring to . RIOT prefers LCK orgs because they are long time trustable partners not because SEA orgs are poor

RIOT also did not choose CR which has one of the biggest fanbase overall in JP if not the highest . Yet still they chose Detonation which is their long time LoL partner

Detonation is way more established than CR. CR have crazy fanbase kinda like Japanese SEN. But Detonation is more establish in several esports.

tbf bren owner just got found smuggling drugs lol. I would love for riot to have more SEA orgs not like 5 koreans but I do understand they care about brand image and financial. A lot of esports org is SEA does have shady stuff.

2021 they literally had no chance at making the LANs at all. Until champions where they were put in the Na lcq which they couldn't even enter cause of visa issues.
2022 got 1 singular slot in APAC. The lowest amount of slots for any region.

It's not surprising if MY/SG, Indonesia or Philippines don't get slots. APAC is a minor region for them. Korea and Japan might get the remaining Pacific slots.
