my source tells me no indo team in franchising. sad

only 2-3 teams getting the interview phase onic rrq and i think boom

ans none of it gets the spot.

yeah man its suck, they should at least have 1 team from TH and indo, both bring so much, ID and TH basically have most of the tier 1 player in APAC, and also viewership kinda big there

they looking prefer to pick 5 LCK org more than ID/TH team
but imo DRX, Gen.G, and Damwon is enough for Pacific.

let 2 LCK org swap by 1 ID & 1 TH org

You need to change your statement, that is no indo orgs. Many of the reported Korean teams won't be having Korean rosters and that should be obvious. Also part of the fault is that no indo orgs have a good background (with money and stuff)

nope, you should also do some research, rrq onic and boom have quite a lot of money, good funding also, rrq possibly one of the richest in SEA

if that was the case they would've been in, lol. why would they remove an org that is representing a good viewership region with good financials. the thing is neither do you have any info nor do i. but according to reports its obvious these indo orgs didnt have as good financial backgrounds as others. and being rich or paying good salaries isnt all that's req

in 2021 which is the first year VCT, im pretty sure indonesia had the most viewership in SEA with a peak 21K viewer before thailand surpass us in 2022. But for average viewers i think indonesia still had the better number than thailand for like 7-10K average. Back then when PRX playing grandfinal in copenhagen we had like 25K peak and thats not include a watch party for about 10K peak

I do understand why big org like rrq not qualify for franchising. Maybe because their main focus only on mobile games. But i think BOOM eSports is pretty big on APAC. Especially with their Dota roster just make it into TI stage with couple of different nationality there.
