We used to steal ALL the NA spots in the CS:GO era, principally LG/SK.
It created an image that NA was a dogshit reagion while SK was trully Just too good in CS:GO. This gonna happen again?
??? That’s not my point. You can’t base how good a team is compared to another on a single recent match. Obviously Loud played better yesterday and totally deserved their win, but optic have played better 3 times in the past and won then. Statistically (3-3 in matches, 1-1 in GFs) and logically, they’re equals.
I’m going to only talk about the GF here. The game on Ascent should have been an OpTic win. They threw a 12-8 lead. Props to Sacy as he had an insane game. OpTic then won a convincing game in bind. The third map was the closest map that could have gone both ways. Sure LOUD won 3-1 but had one round gone different it could have been OpTic 3-0. I do still believe OpTic can best LOUD but as of now LOUD >= OpTic.
"should have been an optic win" Can you even read what you are writing? There's only what happened, and what happened was 2-0 and 3-1 Loud when it mattered. No one said Loud was as good as OpTic when OpTic won masters 3-0. They are currently the best team in the world you like it or not, no matter what mental gymnastics you do.
Fair enough, I feel like both teams threw hard, which is to be expected in a GF, with crowd noise etc, I guess you were more focused on OpTics throws since that's the team you like more between the two, and I may suffer from the same bias regarding Loud. I do agree with what you said, OpTic can definitely beat Loud, and it took FNS and Victor underperforming for Loud to win, both teams look as close as ever, with it being tilted in Louds favour right now. The way you worded it made me read it as if you were undermining Louds achievement, sorry if I came across rude.
This here.
Brazil is (debateably) a 1 team region in the sense that only 1 team has actual international results, Loud is a top 2 in the Americas (tied with Optic in my book as their rivalry is 3-3 all time)
There won't be more spots for BR in the American league as franchising favors org stability from large "clout" orgs even. But we'll see, its just unlikely.
