Honestly, I completely missed Icebox, lol. Though, LOUD have only won on Icebox vs OPTC when Less has dropped 30+ as Viper, I think that LOUD would definitely prefer to play on Ascent first rather than Icebox since vs OPTC Icebox is much closer than Ascent. But Icebox would probably get LOUD's 3rd pick, if I'd have to guess.

Optic not gonna pick breeze. 3rd map will be breeze, 4th map could be fracture. But i agreed with the score. It will be 3-1.

If LOUD don't ban Fracture I will be absolutely horrified, their weaknesses vs OPTC in map pool are Fracture and Pearl right now since their Bind seems to have improved a LOT since they last played it vs OPTC in the grand finals

Trust me bro they will definitely pull out the viper comp FPX pulled out vs DRX, both suy & their defensive protocols around that viper util were insane + LOUD have (afaik) never faced a Viper on Haven internationally before & they usually run Raze KAYO and Sova on Haven (unless they wanna troll and pick Phoenix in the GF's as well

But they didn’t win a single attack round with the viper comp??? And their Phoenix KJ Chamber comp has won them haven two times.. I would bet money they stick with it

FPX on attack is a far cry from OPTC on attack, I would bet that they'd think they'd stand a chance with the Viper comp. Though tbf they're probably not gonna switch out 3 agents from the pool just to use a comp that's lost once already. Unless Chet smokes some Ket or something, I dunno

Ascent- jett(aspas), kayo(saadhak), omen(pancada), killjoy(less), sova(sacy)

I know their default comps, I just expect both teams to switch up their comps a bit in a bid to try and get a leg up on the other, Aspas on Neon never crossed my mind until now.

Welp it wont matter which one is banned and which one is played because LOUD's superior maps of Icebox, Ascent, Breeze and Haven >>> OPTC's superior maps of Pearl, Bind & Fracture

Simply put: Shock value. OpTic will definitely be terrified of LOUD's haven, so in a bid to get a leg up over them, they'll pick an agent that LOUD has never played against before on this map. You saw how great it worked out for FPX until their attack side. 9-3 vs DRX on Haven, which is also one of DRX's best maps.

even then they played a double controller setup with an omen to cover the extreme weaknesses of running a viper; if they do run a viper, there is no chance they would run viper as a solo controller

it was also a very prepped anti-strat, since DRX is known to go for lots of C long+garage splits, and suygetsu's viper setups were used a lot of the time to shut down that specific play

optic also already has a very unique haven comp that they have had lots of success with, and it's something that LOUD has never played against either, not to mention i don't think optic should be too terrified of LOUD's haven considering LOUD literally banned it against them in their group stage matchup
