The more i think abt it the more DTs seem pointless if you are an E-Celeb, the disconnection between viewer and creator makes it that the probability of it being true is closer to 0 than a full number.
I have also noticed that the claim of DTs has become a social media maneuver to nullify or lessen backlash even when the controversy is close to futile.
It twist the narrative and puts you as the victim even if as dumb as an error you might have committed it now becomes irrelevant and you dont need the reform in any capacity.

E-celebs HAVE to use this maneuver, their reputation is what keeps their "career" alive, so if they mess up it can very easily go to shit since everyone sees it. Which then results in the many pointless controversies online where somehow there always DTs involved.

OBS: Title is inflammatory to generate movement, which is exactly what these controversies do, if well planned it puts you on the map.
