things liquid need to change

• new igl. I hate to say it but scream cant be igl while being duelist bcs when they starting losing rounds the stress gets to him and his performance as a duelist drops which is even worse. Therefore new igl is necessary the stress can be seen on screams face whenever they start losing at that isnt healthy. when francising starts heaps of igl will be on market or they could try to develop dima or nivera into igl during the break season.

• get nivera off breach. yeah he aint cut for that agent. his util usage is not nearly as good as jamppi was and he sometimes just seems lost on that agent. chamber is probably going to fall out of meta soon so he and jamppi should swap roles.

-revamp everything rn liquids strats have look yoinky sploinky at best on some maps. pearl is ass, bind is acend comp which most teams have counter for, fracture is perma ban, haven and ascent is 50/50 only icebox is their real good map. they have 3 months to go before vct restarts so i hope they make the best of this time. instead of a long break make it a 50% break 50% work kinda thing but emil is gonna have to do wonders and fixup their mistakes and work hard on discipline the players.

but hey not everything is a negative. teh fact that they made it to champions and playoffs is a big win. 7th best team itw! thats something I would be proud of. made it to iceland aswell, another win! and sometimes liquid has looked like they could win champs with how they were playin.

Wins should be celebrated but mistakes must be noted. Hopefully solid changes come during these 3 months and we will see a new and refreshed beast at franchising

Agreed on the IGL part. They really need a dedicated IGL, it's way too challenging for you to be the star duelist in your team while being the IGL - the pressure will get to you. Let's see what they come up to next year.

You'd be right about soulcas if you were stating this comment a year ago. But this year he had a good run, for sure. He carried TL's ass on fracture with astra, this tourney he was performing quite well. Hell, I'd even say Nivera's performance dropped compared to what we saw when he first started playing for TL

I feel like Nivera was a beast on Haven with Chamber. Sad they didn't keep him on Chamber and Jamppi on Breach for this map

I agreed with most of what you said. Their Breeze is also super good and ion think that should be changed. Swap Nivera and Jamppi agents for Haven, put Nivera on Cypher for Ascent, have soulcas play KAY/O and Jamppi play Fade or Sova. -dimasick +koldamenta should also happen imo to get ScreaM off the IGL role.

Liquids biggest problem has always been the lack of IGL and also the lack of actual roles, they tend to just float roles around too much apart from Scream which makes sense. Their LCQ run was brilliant to watch and I was really starting to think that maybe Liquid would be poised to have a deep run at Champs. they made it out of Groups which was good but as I've stated on previous threads, They just used the same team comps and the same strats over and over, Teams had soo much tape on how these guys were going to play the Phoenix pick on Ascent and the same with their Bind comp, Honestly never put Jamppi on Sage its so fucking troll its not funny. I thought with the addition of eMiL as coach that he would be able to help cook up some cool strats and cool team comps but they just stayed the same from LCQ and Groups and teams were ready for it. I don't think dimasick was the problem, but the lack of introducing an IGL to the team REALLY makes you question what hes on the roster for, I dont think he's a bad player, but the lack of IGL is REALLY hurting them right now.
