Leviathan gets 7 days of rest
Loud gets 1
DRX gets 6
FPX gets 0
kinda expected for those who qualified first but a game immediately the next day like in fpx case is a little bit weird.
Yea, having a dark day when groups end would be more ideal than a day before they end
What if u have 2 real champions on same level but 1 gets 3 bonus days for prac?
You didnt understand my point. What I meant is that a worthy champion of this tournament should overcome every situation
If worth champion means that there is no team close to to beat them then ok but val rn isn't a case
Agreed.
But it just the game rewarding the seed 1.
In masters 1 loud had advantage against optic (rest days + bans + more matches to review of optic)
well,
LEV went 2-0, 7 day rest
DRX went 2-0, 6 day rest
both LLL and FPX went 2-1, only 0-1 rest days
theyre rewarding top seed & limited time because double elim bracket
Should have qualified from the upper bracket Ig, plus the same could have been argued about those teams at the start of the tournament, FPX group was the last to start so they had more time to prepare before, and Levs group was the first one to start so they have that time now. I don’t see the issue other than not giving at least 1 day
The teams that won their group get a longer rest than those that came 2nd. Those that come 2nd have to play an extra game, part of winning your group is the extra few days and a game vs a 2nd placed team. Any team could have won their group making it fair in that they knew winning group = more rest days. FPX won the last big event playing the most maps possible so its not a huge deal.
Its not unfair, its seeding but a team like optic getting 8 days off when they had the easiest group ever is literally braindead.
FPX won the 3 crowd games in a row with no break days
I think it makes sense because of the seeding of these groups
Top Seed should get higher priority and more time than the lower seed
But it REALLY shouldnt be like that when optic got a free group
8 days off
but this is how random brackets work ig
