Not bad, but I think people should temper their expectations tbh. Die For You really set the standard as the first Valorant Champions song and it hit hard. Fire Again might not replicate the same hype Die For You did but goddamn it's still a banger.
As always. It's kinda a given with Riot's reputation and their handling with this sort of stuff, but honestly, even their most mediocre songs are like a 6 or 7 in my book.
I think youre underrating the song honestly, its get better after listening again. Try once more, maybe it was our higher expectations which led to it sounding mid the first time
True, music video definitely way better but song wasn't as good. But its hard with Riot because they set so high standards with Rise (LoL) and Die For You as first Valorant song that it is really hard to pass. I'm always bit disappointed with new Worlds song as well.
after a few listens I think most of the song is good, especially the drop at 55 seconds but the chorus is just so weak. It doesn't have the payoff that the build up just before it makes you expect it to have
Die For You was an excellent song and the animation told a really nice story. While Fire Again had good animation, the story felt confusing and the lyrics just didn't hit as much. Maybe it was because I expected too much but...I enjoyed die for you a lot more.
