100T will finish over xset and Optic in Istanbul. Chamber nerf will affect them imo but that isn't the reason why I think 100T will do better than them. 100T has improved leaps and bounds. All of them are on a hitter rn and they have a very good understanding of the meta and they are comfortable on the agents they play. 100T is just simply better and that's not recency bias talking. OpTic has historically performed poorly against EU teams and all 3 EU teams in this year's Champs are very very strong imo. Unless OpTic gets a favorable group like last year, I can see them getting grouped ngl.

m3c was looking like the best team itw and beating them was no easy feat even though m3c had to play with a sub. If ScreaM has confidence he is a different beast, can't bet against that. Which is also why I would agree they are inconsistent cz no player can be on that level every game, reason why I think they wouldn't get to finals.

Okay as a 100T fan I cannot get behind this. I don't think we're a better team than OpTiC, not at all. I'm hoping for a deep run, but I'm also a realist who understands this is the first International event for most of our players. OpTiC is a beast man, FNS's calling is insane and his understanding of the game and mid-rounding is top level.

Yeah exactly, I think we can beat XSET, I think with how we started to play in those last 2 series proves to me that we could look better against XSET compared to our last time we played them. But I don't think we're better than OpTiC. If Marved, Victor, Crashies and yay are all playing their best I think OpTiC could beat anyone.

What? First of all players like yay and cryo are phenomenal chamber players and will still be able to get immense value out of him even after the nerfs. Obviously chamber won’t be viable on every map anymore but it’s not like players like cryo and yay can’t shift over to different agents/roles. Infact I’m sure cryo and yay are getting used to their new agents and roles right now.

It won’t be the same but yay gets insane value. I would prefer to see him on less aggressive role tho so he can focus on his mechanics rather than entrying.

100T over XSET for sure I agree but OpTic has been together for way too long while 100T is still a pretty new roster. Plus none of them has much LAN experience either. As long as they get out of groups and win 1 match in playoffs I'd consider it to be a successful LAN and any wins beyond that would be insane really

Optic and xset got more time to prepare against eu teams. Most of the players of 100t will be playing first time on LAN, so choke can be expected like guard and xset.
Imo Optic will make into playoffs easily while 100t and xset, can't say for sure about them.
However 100t looks promising and sgares is the god. So..

So far Optic has been better on LAN but xset will outperform them this time. Xset has been consistence throughout the year, 1 LAN which was first for many of their players doesn't change that.

A lot of 100T's "new look" was inspired by a lot of Optic's playbook - and Sgares is a smart guy who knows how to contrive a lot of plays.
The watch party said as much.

I don't think they'll be better than optic because Optic's players are as good if not better.
