3JP + 3KR + 1 OCE + 3 (SEA + India) from all the info from journalists we have so far . CN not in because no game release yet

You realize that if KR/JP get 3 slots, that means the league will probably have 12 in total. Most likely 5 for SEA+SA, don’t spread what you’re saying like it’s set in stone. We don’t even know if OCE will get a slot either.

If you look at the first ever article it says 10 orgs only . Later it said it "CAN" increase to 12 so its not certain.
If you look at the recent list of orgs (20 orgs) which are selected for last stage EMEA franchising RIOT is looking to give representation to big communities in EU. Like the Spanish , Turkish etc.

Now if you look at BoDork's analysis in APAC OCE will 100% get a slot because thats the only slot that will represent their entire community there / region.
furthermore he said DRX and DWG getting a slot because good partners in LoL. And just recently GenG dropped their roster and T1 isnt sure about their NA spot . SO from this you can conclude its 3 slots.

ofc its not like i want this to happen because its extremely fucked for SEA but its just analysis by someone else and yes you are right nothing is set in stone yet.

OCE getting a slot is a weird assumption. Their playerbase is very small compared to the other APAC countries. It’s like expecting Italy to get a slot in EMEA. At this point you’re just making stuff up.

OCE is cut off from the rest of APAC. Players there can't even play and barely scrim with the rest of APAC because it's so high ping . OCE playerbase is exclusive to Sydney servers.

Bro you don’t need to link me anything, i know EMEA. OCE is cut off yes, it’s called geography. I don’t think Riot can move tectonic plates. My point still stands, small playerbase and almost non existent viewership means Riot doesn’t have any incetive to give them a slot. They will still most likely have their own tier 2 league similar to a VRL and will be considered residents in terms of import but that’s about it.

For kr, I don't think it's determined by how well the region performs but rather the direct org. As mentioned, the fanbase, finances, and other things.

China is gonna be fine.
When the game gets approved, don’t be surprised if we get a Chinese league specifically for them (to lead into internationals) as is in PUBG, LPL, DPC, Wild Rift, etc. It’d be a massive flop if China doesn’t get their own league at this point considering their leagues in other Riot titles

Bro, Zeta and NTH are both better than XIA, which is APAC’s 2nd best team. Why should APAC get 5 and JP get 2? They also have much higher viewership.
If performance is the reason KR only deserves 1 slot, shouldn’t APAC be given the same treatment?
As well, 1 CN team has played and we already think they deserve 3 slots? I don’t get it.
