Valorant
Pros:
-more unique ablilities with new agents and items added alll the time
-the meta is always evolving and changing
-better developer and is looked after much better
-basically no hackers on the game
-is free to play (csgo you need to get prime)
-more beginner friendly for someone who has never played a fps game before.

CSGO

Better movement and gun mechanics (awp is much easier to counter compared to operator)
Comms are used much much more than Valorant especially in low ranks
maps are much more unique and designed better with no one sided maps (not to my knowledge)
rank system is better than valorant
Smurfing is not as big as a problem

There is vpd in valorant like fpl top but people prefer ranked. And in CS there arent just fpl, tons of levels of Faceit and even ESEA. Most people grinds faceit after being Global but in Valorant some pros cant even get to radiant.

Never heard of vpd, but the reason why there are Valorant pros who can’t get radiant is because ranked to radiant is just a grind on whoever plays the most. Obviously you gotta be good enough to compete but it comes down to whoever plays the most.

never had that problem so, wingman ranks are easy to get anyway.
the valorant ranked system is filled with smurfs, you know its bad when pro players almost play on their smurfs more than their main.
the games you either curb stomp or get curbed stomp even in higher ranks. teams are always one sided. i get kids on my team who have 0 brain or aim but are in diamond/immortal.
pros even say that valorant ranked is a mess.

Shroud said that he loves CS and its a better game and he would love to play it over Val if there werent cheaters...
Then he is complaining that apparantly its easer to start a game in Val, which isnt true anyway. In faceit you click start que and u find a game in 5 seconds or less. Then u have a button launch cs, and it automatically launches ur game if you're not in it and connects you to the server automatically. He wants to play MM against silvers so he can look good on stream, typical streamer mindset xD. He would get rekt on faceit against real players in a real game.
Even Jake said Shroud said he would be playing CS if it wasnt for the cheaters. But thats what faceit is lol.
It has AC better and more trustworthy than Riot Vanguard which prolly is mining bitcoin on my pc atm xD

I'm pretty sure that Valorant has very similar players at the moment. There are no official numbers but the estimated numbers are almost the same. I mean if you consider like a few 1000 players more in a month in games as big as these as important. Yikes.

Just play faceit or esea if you are that concerned about hackers in MM. I mean prime was free for x amount of years. It’s almost impossible not to have it unless you never heard of CS.

And also about the design, Cs is maybe better (it’s subjective) but aren’t you tired of watching always same maps? I think the main advantage that Valorant has is the content cadence

Can't compare a year old game with a 8 year old.

It's funny, CS hasn't changed its core and meta drastically in 8 years and still is the most played game in steam, this says a lot about how good the game core is right?

Don't update Valorant for just an year and u will see a lot of people stop playing it, the game needs to add new things/change constantly to attract people. Lol, good luck to riot to find new abilities and things to add to the game after 3-4 years and not broke the game.
