I know the finals were on lan so maybe they mean home - playing from home in groups/playoffs. away - on lan?

only reason I know is because my brother was one game away from qualifying for the finals in london. Yeah that would be cool but it would take away the spotlight from vct abit so never happening

I think the home/away format is referencing the format of the matches where teams pick their home ground

I don’t know if NA teams will play the matches on location
