With the second (and final) open qualifier through, the WePlay! Invitational is set to begin.

Eight teams will fight in a swiss stage and four will advance to single-elimination bracket for a piece of the $50,000 prize purse, the largest of any European Valorant tournament thus far.

While this will be only the second event for G2 Esports G2 Esports Inactive , it will be their first up against fish123 fish123 Inactive Kryptix James Affleck ScreaM Adil Benrlitom L1NK Travis Mendoza ec1s Adam Eccles soulcas Dom Sulcas , whose form is unknown given their hiatus.

With G2 still searching for a permanent fifth, and word on the street of fish123 signing with a major organization, the WePlay! Invitational will help illustrate the current landscape of the European Tier 1 scene.

Format

The tournament will begin with a group stage of three Swiss rounds, one per day, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs.

The four playoff teams will then compete in a single-elimination bracket.

All matches will be Bo3.

The prize pool will be distributed as detailed below:
