Job security. Situation would be so clueless for FPX players, Guild players, M3C players.. (just to mention a few)

Yes these orgs have clout, I just really hope there will be a massive rostermania before the 2023 season to ensure competitive integrity instead of prioritizing clout

Rostermania and player swaps feels unavoidable however you flip it. Many T2 players on T1 rosters will get "filtered" unfortunately. Just hope players will be smart about their contracts and protect themselves from uncertainty.

In the long run, I do believe this is a good move, and I will root for league expansions as more orgs establish themselves in Valorant.

KOI or Heretics would’ve made more sense in my opinion, but it is what it is. Heretics have been making moves recently and KOI has a massive audience, so you can see why Riot would want to include them

Rouge and Heroic don't have big ''org fanbase'' (like G2, Fnatic, KOI, KC , other tier 1 orgs) and also hasn't invested anything in Val from beginning to establish Val fanbases. So I don't think they have better viewership than any of these orgs

I wish Riot change their minds and make it to 14 or 16 teams. EMEA is huge region but only 10 teams, same with Americas and Asia. In LoL, they have NA League, BR League, and LATAM league, they have EU league , Turkish League, CIS League but in Val, they want to merge all into 2 leagues (EMEA and America) but only 10 teams ?

It just depends on brand and fanbase, and FPX doesn't have a lot of fanbase (u could see it in this last master) like other teams I mentioned, that's why it's not on this list (but who know what Riot does)

i understand how it works. and even if its like this, they have to give some spots to the best teams (maybe 2 best teams overall each region) even if they r not super popular. otherwise its just retarded.

its a competitive scene, not some wrestling show. if some teams were working hard and became the best in game. plus fpx is gonna have more fans after masters obviously. and still not havin a spot in this franchise stuff then wtf is this, what was the point to compete then?

best teams are players, not orgs

It's pretty simple: if an org is the best in Valorant but it can't make a big fanbase around, that org is not making things good as an org (u can see the perfect example with Acend, poor fanbase after winning worlds)

Yes, more people follow now the winner of master, but do they do that because of the players or the org? I'm pretty sure they are big fans of the roster, and that won't be a problem in franchising because that roster will be picked up by a franchising org, so fans can keep following their fav players

How many times does this needs to be explained? Rosters doesn’t matter when it comes to franchising. You can have the best roster now and 6 months later the players get poached and leave. Franchising is about the quality of the orgs and what they bring to the table, not the players. The best players will get into the league no matter what. Try and use your brain please.

I know that EMEA is a good region on valorant, but, it's the most boring league by far. I'm so more hyped for Americas e Asia. This league don't has historycal confronts, or big rivalries

KOI - KC (probably the biggest rivalry in terms of fanbase)

But bro, we are talking of a lot of teams with big fanbases. Right now there is no org similar to SENTINELS fanbase/hype (for example), but teams like KOI or KC can grow a lot with the international league

In dach region you knucklehead. Navi is better than gambit(in terms of org+politics), bbl is better than smb, and fpx really isn't known in Europe until valorant and even then they couldn't bring big viewerships(as shown by the record-low viewership of masters Copenhagen)
