Most lithuanians (like yekindar) and I had one lithuanian in school (i live abroad) speak russian fluently.

Ardiis is lithuanian but I think born in Liverpool. Can he speak russian aswell?

Lithuanian and Latvian language are actually pretty different, there are only a few common words. There are only certain phrases that are very similar.

The languages are pretty similar, I can understand around 70% of what a latvian is saying

thats cap, some words are similar. theres no way youd be able to understand what a Latvian person is saying if you listened. Unless you know some Latvian.

Its actually very uncommon for a Latvian person to know Russian as far as I know, especially younger generation.
