I took some time to collect the data on how every region has performed on the international stage and will be updating this thread after every international tournament (Only Masters and Champs and not counting when a region faced itself):

Here is the list going from worse record to best. (Determined by the amount of Ws and in case of a tie who has fewer Ls)

Cool Fun Facts:

NA and EMEA are the only regions to have faced a team of their own region internationally (NA 4 times and EMEA 8 times)
The only match-up we haven't seen yet is: LATAM vs APAC

XIA lost to seed 4 EMEA last time and now went 0-2 FPX defeated them with a sub
only ZETA can win but that was when EMEA teams did not play

Pretty impressive stats, although you have to consider one thing.
Your ranking is based on the Wins with Losses as tiebreaker. Regions like EMEA and NA has higher than 2 teams in some cases. Similarly some regions have represented with just 1 team the whole event.
So as the data is updated it will be practically skewed towards the regions who had more participants.
Try to make it per team scores or something like that.

Yeah, I know, but having more teams technically means that region is better and because of that they deserve the extra spots. I think the ratio of wins/losses might be a good measurement stat.

If this is accurate, why do people love to downgrade EU so much when they factually is the better region with their dominant record?
Reykjavik = SEN (W) vs FNATIC
Berlin = Gambit (W) vs Optic
Champions = Acend (W) vs Gambit
Reykjavik (2022) = Optic (W) vs Loud
Copenhagen = TBA

both NA and EU are consistent finalists at LAN events.
At the end of the day, each team's goal is to win the trophy
