Redbull homeground discussion

Firstly the format :
This is a single elim bracket of Bo5 with 8 team and a special twist : The homeground concept :Each team will pick a « home map » , if they win theirs and the opponents home map they win 2-0.Pretty interesting but might get really underwhelming in case both teams have the same best map.

STORYLINES :
In orders of my power ranking
SUMN FC : Safe bet/Favourite of the tournament,established teams with teamplay ,tactics and firepower, very hard opponents for the 3 teams that have made roster changes recently
GUILD : Sayf already has synergy with the players , those guys where top 3 in EU ,DO not count them out , they have the firepower to win , will have to show us the deepness of the strat book
G2 : Coming off a lot of changes , A lot of overlap on roles and agent between Ardiis and zeek , but its still 4 out of the core 5 in the best team of 2020
FGK/VITALITY : Dark horse of this tournament , Literraly rolled on anyone and everyone in qualifiers,very aggressive style with a incredible firepower of Bramz vakk and cender. This team is gonna be really hard to play against VS teams taht dont have a lot of teamplay and comms, and even with that they play so explosive if you dont come prepare you get pretty much rekt
TL :IF the teamplay got better, if the problems around the lack of strats and microcalls that where showned in First strike , and if Scream goes godmode again ,they will roll everyone, if any of the 3 i showned they still have a good chance

NIP :One of the biggest deception of 2020, But they finally added a IGL , maybe if ex6tenz can get Rhyme and Crea of the leash and make them play in team this might get very intersting ,otherwise the 3rd worse on paper
OG/monkey buisness :3 Legendary Overwatch player , 2 of them being multiple times Shootmania champs and a third being a Tf2 legend,(Akm and unkoe with Tviq) a really solid CS player (ellement) and a wild card in Onibyy. This team lacks firepower but will compesante in experience and teamplay . They have a lot of past synergies ,those guys play together for like 10 years. Still second worst on paper because they really have a lack of firepower
FUTBOLIST ; IMO not even the best team in turkey (BBL) ,last on paper , but good synergies dont know much more
(if the first three are not developped a lot its because pretty much everybody knows them and a lot have been already said)

NOW THE MATCHUPS
NIP VS FUTBOLIST : least interesting matchup for me , either NIP fluke really hard and loose or futbolist get rekt, not a lot to say or to expect ; Will still see if ex6tenz starts works and everything :good pracc for both teams ; 70/30 for NIP
G2 VS VITALITY :
Very hard match to predict,VITALITY are very hard to counter ,if g2 didnt work on comms and tactics or how well they can correct ingame or adapt they might loose,but g2 are also a machine taht cant be stopped sometimes. This is coming down to the leader and how well can they players can keep up
if this was a bet i would go for vitality
60/40 for g2
SUMN FC VS OG
A brain match, the true test of OG , if they can take one or 2 maps we can pretty much say they have a lot of potential, however i feel like SUMN is way too big of an order for g2
75/25 for Sumn
UPTADE FORGOT GUILD VS TL:
Guild are coming in hot honestlmy ,synergy with sayf is presnet already ,they have beaten tougher oppponents all 2020 long, iif scream goes godmode,or TL have finally found the micromanagement taht they lacked from ardiis leaving , they might win,but guild are just so tough to play against .

and yes i might overrate vitality a bit but they actually are good

you forgot liquid vs guild matchup mens))

and yes you're overrating Vitality for sure putting them as favorite, they have proven nothing so far against top teams, although I hope they win too. they definitely have an upset potential

I'll take G2 and probably Vitality and Liquid over Guild... Guild has always been overhyped for reasons that I don't know. Sayf and Yacine are incredible players but their most impressive feat is beating G2 while using an exploit... They have always bested NiP and I think because of the chemistry and team aspects they might be better than Vitality and Liquid but they should 100% not be over G2 imo. I honestly think G2 and SUMN are a tier above the rest of the teams and that doesn't mean I think Vitality, Guild or Liquid are bad I just think they aren't on the same level as G2 and SUMN but we will see shortly.

G2 vs Vitality
Mixwell said they were scrims against vitality and were some of the best teams they practice against. This makes me believe that both teams know each other quite well and that it is going to be a very good game to watch. Even so, I think that G2 should win, the income of a coach who can get value from the players is what g2 needed.
NIP VS FUTBOLIST
If Ex6Tenz can guide his team well I think this would have to be an easy win for NiP
SUMN FC VS OG
It should be for SUMN, since we are talking about them, I hope that FNATIC signs them as soon as possible
GUILD VS TL
In my opinion the most even match of all. In training Liquid has been working very well. What I most want to see this game is that there is a surprise and it is that Scream is playing Jett / Operator and possibly he will also use it against Guild
