That is actually true. Weird to think about it. Only 1 team made it to top 5-8 in Champions (2 got grouped) and The Guard didn't win single game last Masters.
Dude guard isn’t doing good in NA either, many people call it a honeymoon it happens a lot in esports. Optic won that lan and they are NA are we not allowed to appreciate optic? And now people call us 1 team region? I can guarantee you xset will do better than guard. A true one team region is DRX and LOUD for obvious reasons. For fucks sake we won masters 1 2022 how is this NA doing bad

One LAN doesnt change anything, especially one where two of their teams were plagued by external factors. The LAN before that, EMEA had 3 teams in top 4 out of 4 and the last team beat the best NA teams while placing top 8

you already saw once 2-0 in upper semifinal stage 1 and xia is never close to PRX
apac had the most competition out of every region, almost every match had an OT and games were close w high level val, far from a 1 team region

FNC (serial LAN choker), G2 (LUL), TL (OMEGALUL), ACE (fell off), FPX (can’t even field full team for foreseeable future, so will always have excuse)

First of all your analysis of Fnc being lan chokers is full of recency bias, they couldn't perform in masters 1 because they were having 2 subs. In Champions they defeated DRX and C9. Tl always makes into playoffs of any event, G2 underperformed a bit tho. Acend is kinda transitioning from a bad masters 1. Fpx will perform no matter what if they play with no subs.
This "Fnatic LAN choker" narrative doesn't make any sense and I don't understand who even started sharing it? Historically Fnatic has always performed better on LAN than online outside of last Masters with 2 subs. 2nd EMEA seed in Masters 2 2021, but still got to finals and performed better than 1st EMEA seed Team Liquid. For Champions they miraculously made it as 3/4th EMEA seed just because Gambit won Berlin and no one expected anything from them, but they still managed to top their group over C9(best NA) and DRX(best KR) and placed 5th-8th after losing to KRU. Like I truly don't get this narrative. Losing to KRU in playoffs when no one even expected you to even get out of groups is not a choke.
how so? just because they didn't do as well as Optic does not mean they are one team region. it's actually competitive there. it's not like Optic was stomping Stage 1 ( they actually needed to sweat to get to iceland).
