Assuming the following things happen:

4 teams directly into playoffs and double elim in in playoffs like Iceland.
Optic gets first seed and are directly into playoffs.
Fnatic gets first seed and are directly into playoffs.
PRX directly into playoffs.
LOUD directly into playoffs.

Group Stage would go like:

Assume Group A has the following teams: Guild, DRX, NIP(assuming they get that spot against LATAM) and NTH.
I would say DRX and NTH qualify and move onto playoffs.
Assume Group B has the following teams: XSET, XERXIA, FPX and KRU.
I would say FPX(if no subs. Otherwise XERXIA) and KRU qualify and move onto playoffs.

Now, playoffs would go like:

Umm... I genuinely have no idea xD.
Imma just say LOUD, Fnatic, Optic and DRX will make top 4 if the brackets support this scenario. After that it is literally anyones game.
If I have to say then I would say Fnatic vs. DRX Grand Finals and Optic 3rd.

This is all in my humble opinion and assuming literally ton of stuff. So don't come at me with pitchforks xD.

the way xerxia is getting shit on by prx even after fighting them for the 82nd time, i have very low hopes for them. prx was quite easy to shut down internationally(atleast prx wasnt as dominant against whoever they fought in masters 1). but xerxia seems to look like they cant even force prx, forsaken is flying over mid a on breeze jett knifing every player one shot. wtf is this region if they cant stop a team playing a nerfed jett

It’s too early. Maybe we wait until 11 of the 12 teams that has qualifies then we can make this prediction. Who knows, maybe KRU gets the bye to playoff and Leviathan qualifies as well

Yes if Leviatan beat NIP in SA LCQ, KRU gets the bye to playoff and Leviatan join them in Masters. Otherwise it will be the same as Masters 1. Also i don’t want to make any assumption until it is confirmed

FPX are hard team to prep against anyway, so playing against them for first time is going to be pretty hard I would imagine. They are also doing a lot of unique stuff. If they go with full roster*

Yeah I mean its just genuinely the stuff they make up on the spot mid-round, so teams such as DRX may find it difficult after having already played in a very indiverse and unchallenging region

I think the DRX hopium should just stop at this point. Unless they replace Rb(or he steps it up when it matters most) they will be a good 5th-8th team at international LANs with some upset potential and interesting set plays, but not much else.

I don’t blame you for that. You are just one of the many people falling for the DRX trap. The worst thing is that they always start off strong and you can’t help but back them to finally break their international trophy drought. I think they are a guarantee to make it out of groups, but they just seem lacklustre compared to most of the so called “guarantees” to make playoffs.(fnatic, optic, xset, fpx, guild, loud, prx even)
