'scrim gods' have generally have gone to go far in international tournaments. as an optic fan you should know NV back in stage 3 last year were the na scrim gods. back then the same argument that scrims dont matter was circulating, but then NV made it to m3 finals despite this narrative. gmb likewise were scrim gods in m3 and won the tourney. during lcq, C9 were widely considered the best scrim team in NA, and results in champions indicated they were the best na team then.

scrims aren't a surefire indicator of real match results but that doesn't mean they're as meaningless as the recent vlr narrative implies. Usually good scrim performance results in good results. Gambit were scrimgods before and during Masters Berlin. Similar story with Acend at Champs.

I disagree scrims can indicate that one particular team has the potential but that result never matters just because scrims depends on how teams want it to go i have seen teams scrims to practice just a single site with the same strat peeking angles and so on and it should be pretty obvious a team which is actually good like Gambit and Optic will definitely win scrims the thing am talking about here is team that have never got any significant results in their region beating some of the top teams in scrims for example my own regions GE they at one point were doing great in scrims, Turkish teams were bopping Optic and i think it was guild who beat optic in scrims but all of us know in the current state of meta they prolly wont be able to win when Optic is playing for the win.

Overhyped my fucking ass. Go ask some of top 8 teams in SEA and they'll definitely say we could be a contender for the masters slot. We are scrimming them on 120+ ping and making it close and even beating them. Every top SEA team we have scrimmed has high respect for us knowing the damage we can do on the ping we have yet alone what we would do on low ping. We are not like Bonkers or Soniqs and it takes one vod review to see that. I hope to change all your minds when the time comes but for now have some respect on our names.
