listen guys i know Tex appears on the stats a lot he's their star player so it should be expected for Tex to be top fragging but the truth is he's got aim but he lacks decision making and clutch ability, there's better star players that they could choose from
In my opinion, I could see anyone from Hazed S0m or Tex being on the potential to be dropped. NRG has a solid roster but doesn't have a standout superstar player that every other Tier 1 team has. They divide that up between two above average pros in Tex and S0m (the former having been arguably one of the most improved players between Stage 1 and Stage 2). They're just in a purgatory of good enough to make VCT but not good enough for international competition.
But I don't think they'll change the roster until post LCQ. Plus depending on if they get into the Partnership program we'll see what they do.
Before stage 2 i´d have said Tex, but he´s been quite strong this challengers
buttttt he's been good only on chamber, so when chamber gets nerfed we'll have to see if he improved in other agents
nah not really, can't blame NRG losing to EG ngl. EG just looked so good they could be top3 contenders on a good day.
The only players that come in mind to switch would be som or eu, however I would be hesitant to drop them because they are by no means bad it’s just that after franchising there may be better players available in their respective roles.
i think eeiu is a super solid player that they won't drop. same with ethan ngl. i think if anyone's going to get dropped it's most likely s0m or tex due to how many insane duelist/chamber players there are. there aren't a lot of solid dependable flex players like eeiu and ethan
I agree. If you are looking for a superstar duelist or chamber there are so many better options, especially after franchising.
ngl i thought tex should be dropped for android in stage 1 cus of how insane android is, but after watching these matches and seeing how good tex has been, i genuinely think s0m might be the most replaceable player on the team
Yep. Sure som can flex onto agents like sage or omen but by no means is he a start duelist like cryo or babybay who can change the course of a whole game.
