People say Valorant is random, but I'm watching the 100T CS team lose a map to a tier-3 team they destroyed earlier in the day. it was the same map and it was completely different. you would never get that in valorant. Upsets happen, but if two teams played the same map twice within a day or so, the team that won dominantly would win again. the only exception is if the game was really close then the result might change.

when it comes to SRG their macro could be a lot better but tbf it is average in the challengers scene
what they really need to work on is their micro situations (which is crazy considering how long they've been a team for, maybe a rebuild or some of them joining co-op challenger teams would be better for them individually in the long term)

also their coach is not it they look much worse without effys

CS2 is more random than Valo because cs2 is so limited it adds so much more value to gunplay and if someone is just on that day, theyll just win the 50 50 duel and win a round
whereas in valo, you actually have to think. the good teams have way more of a foundation built up when it comes to the varying amounts of strats and comps they can run. they will always manage to win out against a team that's not as experienced as them.
theres multiple times in cs2 when a tier 1/1.5 team is trying to qualify for a lan they have to play in a qualifier and they come across tier 2 teams and they LOSE, the top tier 1 teams are lucky in that they never have to play these otherwise vitality would lose to some no name team

what a narrative it would be for srg to make top 1 na tier2 then make playins then win playins by beating c9 and then make champions

i do want to shoutout the fact they kept making changes and fixes regarding when it came to their macro on maps. Nbs staying up during the night and working with them to fix these macros to this level during the tourney is a good sign of the future
