what happens to pro play? is split removed in vct as well?

I'm pretty sure split will still be played for the region playoffs, i think. Afterwards, for LAN events, Pearl would take over.

It is rotated out basically. In every form unrated, comp and vct for now. They will be keeping the map count at 7 and will be rotating maps in and out after some period of time to always keep it at 7. As far as i know

they wont rotate for unrated or comp... it doesnt make any sense... SPLIT will go under complete rework maybe

Yea. The devs said that it will definitely come back in the future and with some tweaks most probably

Yes because 7 maps is the sweet spot. When teams are doing map veto for a best of 3 series it usually goes like this:
Team A:Ban
Team B:Ban
A:pick
B:pick
A:ban
B:ban
Last map is the decider
