ASCENT is a snooze fest, super boring and stale. A map can be balanced without being boring and this is not a fun map
BREEZE is a super good map. The sites offer unique cover and play styles, allowing for interesting takes, defenses, after plants and retakes. Mid needs a little improving but otherwise breeze is a very good map.
BIND is very creative, not having a mid changes the way the map plays in a unique and fun way. The teleporters allow for strats from both sides that are impossible in any other map. Agent utility is also given new layers with the teleporters.
SPLIT is probably one of the best maps in the game. The closer quarter battles give an experience only found in specific parts of other maps. Despite the defensive advantage, with good team play, a team can get a decent amount of rounds on attack. Simply a good design.
FRACTURE is a very good map despite the reception. With the right agent comp, attack and defense is very digestible, and the four “entrances” let teams come up with interesting strats not usable on other maps.
