Not even when they were as envy- 0-3 GMB and 0-2 ACE .Talk all you want but the fact is that masters 1 boasted a weaker EMEA, no FPX, FNC sub situation and so optics run is factually the least impressive of any of the lans wins so far in valorant- I would favor fnatic in a potential international match.

Fnatic was better than G2 the whole stage and even played this best series in the history of valorant (vs M3C) one series changes nothing and the yoru comp is really thought out and difficult to counter if you have not played against it before so them losing to yoru literally means nothing

He was commenting saying that G2 were somehow better than fnatic based off one serires ( and I was stating that one series means nothing especially based the whole stage performance which is more indicative than a single series especially against a team who is on a run. He also said that G2 got destroyed by yoru and I was purely pointing out that playing a co-ordinated team, with a new idea, that have not played against so only know how to counter in theory is fucking hard to do even for the best of teams. Its braindead to say that playing against a team who has an entirely different comp to the meta is easy. Even the top coaches (including sliggy on his stream) would tell you that playing against a team who has a thought out comp for the first time is almost impossible to win.

In Champs, Envy ran into issues with covid.

In M1, EMEA's representatives failed to make it out of the first round.
