Professional Counter-Strike player Timothy "autimatic" Ta has officially moved to Valorant by becoming a part of T1 T1 Korea Rank #2 stax Kim Gu-taek (김구택) Meteor Kim Tae-oh (김태오) Sylvan Go Young-sup (고영섭) BuZz Yu Byeong-cheol (유병철) iZu Ham Woo-ju (함우주) 's roster.
A familiar face for Counter-Strike fans, autimatic was part of multiple championship rosters, including the 2018 Cloud9 roster that won the ELEAGUE 2018 Major, and most recently the Gen.G roster that won ESL One: Road to Rio. He has also represented Complexity and TSM's CS:GO rosters.
The move marks the fourth member of the former Gen.G CS:GO roster to transition to Valorant, after autimatic was put on the transfer list last December. Both s0m and daps are part of NRG Esports' Valorant roster, while koosta transferred over to Gen.G's own Valorant roster.
autimatic will reunite with T1 teammate Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham, who was also on the Cloud9 CS roster that won the ELEAGUE 2018 Major.
Yesterday, T1 announced the addition of head coach dd8. He and the team will have just under a week to prepare for the next Valorant Champions Tour Open Qualifier, which starts on February 10.
