No FPX?
Fnatic two subs?
Liquid arent even supposed to be here they got 4th?
If Europe wins this event it says a lot about the other regions.
fuzuka [#2]fnatic two subs, liquid 4th seed copium
PUTTING COPIUM AT END OF STATEMENT RENDERS THE STATEMENT UNTRUE KEKW
The obsession with which region is strongest is so fucking cringe, but it keeps esports going so whatever.
Reality check: any region with a pool of millions of players to draw from (APAC, BR, EMEA, NA) is equally capable of producing players who can win tournaments. Sorry if that hurts to hear.
Loud are a fantastic team, Liquid is too. Everyone is competitive. Stop drawing conclusions based on regional pride like it's 1902.

if only there were more people like you on vlr
LouBag [#10]Cringe.
Eu has the most slots of any region.
How about this. Don’t let the Guard go and give NA 3 Slots.
We send Optic, C9, V1
Interesting that EU thinks they have the best region but their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th seed are not good enough to represent them.
Cope and cry
4th NA seed was xset and i dont think they can survive groupstage
and we all saw what happened with c9 and optic last time
just because they beat xerxia once doesnt mean theyre good

Well it does make sense in the way that different regions produce different play styles. Paper Rex are more than enough proof of that. But yeah you’re right in the sense that one should not disqualify any region just because of a specific team.

i would change the ''capable of producing players who can win tournaments'' to: build a team who can win tournaments.

i see what you mean but 'Reality check: any region with a pool of millions of players to draw from (APAC, BR, EMEA, NA) is equally capable of producing players who can win tournaments. Sorry if that hurts to hear.'
This is clearly not true, some regions will always be stronger/ players will always be better than other and you can see that in other games :)

That’s patently false in the early stages of any esport. Perhaps in 5 years it’ll solidify a bit, but rn it’s anyones game.

sort of but as soon as these aim gods from CIS start moving to VAL.... its over ig

not really, the skill ceiling isnt high enough. Metas will shift each update so team work/strats will be pretty important too.
verse [#5]except the UK 👍
The UK is not a region. We are part of EMEA with our European brothers, and lots of Brits compete at high level Val :)
