Between keznit who made an unnecessary and racist JOKE and the brazilian community who tried to DESTROY HIS CAREER and BAN him from valorant… who is the disproportional here? Should brazil hate keznit? Yes. But at this level, its clearly a hysterical reaction to something absolutely irrelevant. The ones who bear the most HATRED in this situation are the brazilians, NOT keznit. Passou do ponto da rivalidade. O aspas dps daquilo ate jogou com o keznit duo, mas na visão da comunidade o keznit fez algo imperdoável e deve ser BANIDO. Isso não é normal.
I don't think so
From my personal experience on a shared server game like cs, everyone else outside of Brazil were racist and toxic overall towards brazilian people for no reason, even latam proplayers and their fans publicly attacked racistly other brazilians pro players and orgs, and they don't even apologize afterwards. And for that reason I personally don't support Latam orgs. #goLOUD #GONINJAS
Problems that BR have with LATAM:
Onur: He was the KRU Coach and would be the LOUD coach, but he is antivax and they had to change him. After this he trashtalked LOUD.
Keznit: He was racist with Pava (He did monkey sounds while playing with him), with Dgzin (Comparing him with CJ from GTA San Andreas), and now people are saying that he was racist with Aspas (but this is a controversy, i'm not gonna comment that one).
Onur: Understandable, guy's personality is bullshit.
Keznit: As i understand, Pava situation came from a viral video not racism.
Dgzin started the whole situation calling Mazino fat and Shaw threaten Keznit, so both parties have an issue there.
Aspas: He literally explained what the word actaully means and Aspas played with him after, not racist nor pejorative at all.
Yeah, I think that the problem is this weird tension that we create around us, but we have so much more in common that differences. I prefer 100% cheer for Kru with Onur and Keznit than for Sentinels with zombs.
It's so awful that the games that I played with Brazil as one of LATAM servers you hear "Boludo", "Monkey" and this kind of shit everytime.
but calling someone "boludo" is not an insult, it's a very common crutch of Argentines. The problem in Brazil is that they live on the defensive for everything, if they tell you that you look like someone, it's racism, even if it has nothing to do with skin color. Hey, even if I say "monkey", it depends on the context: if you dash in the face of 5 players, alone, it's not a racist insult, it's because you acted like a monkey, without thinking, don't you think so?
I heard brazilians and latam players calling each other "boludos" before, and it was in total negative way. Bc of that i tought that it was way worse that what you said. And racism is a HUGE thing here, so i understand why brazilians are strict about this insults, but I see that are a lot of overreactions out here.
One example: I know that in other countries it's common to call babies as monkeys, but this is unnaceptable here. But yet, I understand that a lot of people overreact this things
I personally do. Although we have a history of racism in the region, we are Latin American above all and we have to help each other. Our countries have a similar past and we understand each other's pain better than anyone of how our society is currently broken due to European colonization and how it happened. We understand the problems of social mobility, corruption, violence and among other socioeconomic problems that we have in common and this ends up creating a bond of empathy.
I have mastered the art of not being braindead and actually taking my own conclusions of anything that happens instead of going with what everyone is saying, like this last keznit trembo exposed attempt, just a few secs of research amd you find that primate in chile Spanish means Primo or cousin, litteraly a few seconds of research
I can't judge an entire region on account of one, two or three people. I may not like the statements made by Onur and Keznit, but I am not against LATAM. On the contrary, if the Brazilians leave and LATAM continues, my support will continue for them, after all: Latin America at the top! It's always been us against the world, it won't be any different now.
I think it will depend on the person. In a general statement i think this happens more in cs, because to be honest, latam cs isn't that strong nowadays.
In Valorant, #3 maybe expressed one of the most common thoughts that i see and read in different places.
I personally have always cheered for BR teams when they go against other regions. Gotta say that i don't like that much some of their fanbases tho.
I can also spend all day posting Brazilians calling us poor and discriminating against us but that's not going to change anything. My point is that you put "br are racist LOL" as if it was a surprise. And as my Guatemalan friend said "every region have toxic, dumbass racist and bad ppl that harm the all comunity."
No, they don't even consider themselves Latin American (they only do it when it suits them) they think they're superior because it's a country with many inhabitants. they think they have the power to "cancel" anyone, but when they say or do something racist it's just a joke or not They consider it somewhat racist.
yes but no, I support certain Brazilian personalities and as a consequence their teams (aspas is an example of this). But I can't stand to see how brazilian fans and some of their pro players and casters are so paranoid about everything, playing the victim but they are the ones who throw the first stone or take something out of context to cancel someone, brazilians must understand that they are not the center of the universe.
I support some brazilian players and their teams, like Im a big fan of Sacy so I'll support Loud.
Brazilian fans though, hard to support them when they've damage their own image with the death threats and toxicity in general. I know is not all of them but in general that's the current image we in other LATAM countries see.
