I’m so tired of hearing this. Valorant in 2022 is different enough from CS that a top pro can’t just switch and immediately dominate with no work. Watch S1mple play some valo, he’s pretty fucking good but nowhere near as good as he is in CS. I’m sure if he put in the work, he COULD be as good because he has the mechanical skill to perform on the highest level, but it’s not something where any top cs pro can just wander over and clown on tier 1 Valo.
I disagree, this is a game that really took a lot from cs so I think mechanical skill is easily transferable especially for anyone who is tier 1, and it has, pretty much every big name in val currently came from cs. We also should stop the narrative that Valorant is incredibly difficult to pick up, anyone who has played cs professionally understands util and how to use it and Val agents don't require some sort of genius to use, if s1mple took val seriously like watching pro demos and learning line ups and timings he could easily be a top pro in the scene bcuz his mechanical skill is just insane. And this goes for most cs pros. I do agree that maybe like in a week a cs pro wouldn't just like dominate but give most of them about a few months of non stop grinding and they could.
