Oh for sure riot will never allow a crowd to behave that way
I get this is valorant site but why is it so bad to say cs crowds clear, like can we be honest one something can be improved on
She is so cringe , like u get roasted in any competitive environment if u play bad it’s how it is for athletes , it’s how it is in other esports .. grow a pair
8 teams? Holy L…
So u lose interest bc ur country sucks at game lmao? Cry is free
Cs Tier 2 and 3 scene is better than val tier 2 and 3 if we bein honest
I think some will, Val still missing key features like replays, a good dm mode, custom maps, etc… but overall competition is healthy for both scenes
I think the big one is Tarik imo, he already tweeted about hoping it’s coming but he could stream cs more which would be huge
I’m curious how this will effect val pro scene, I can imagine players will switch
Because he was average in a game full of demons lmao had a 1.05 as an awper and wasn’t even the best in his region
They gotta stop having this artificial fake hype not everything needs this reaction hoping it gets better
Hopefully both Games continue to do well !! they are the same genre one dying is bad for the other atp
Ofc, no one is fighting the fact that Val is popular rn, just you saying cs is dead is obviously not true. Both are doing good.
Ok so pro scene isn’t as big lol just say that but instead you throw out words like dead and I still run into kids on this game so idk what ur getting at
Dead is a strong word , maybe pro scene but what constitutes it being dead in NA?? Can you not find games? Because I can. People still play it here get out of this mindset
That can go both ways my friends play cs but not val, people in NA still play it lmao
Bros attacking the game that is the reason valorant exists
It’s terrible tbh I don’t even consider it a good way to warm up which is sad
Way too early a both faker and s1mple came into the pro scene years after the game was released , the goat of valorant probably isn’t even playing games yet
Idk it will just depend if riot f up the meta badly , with games such as these one year of bad meta can hurt the game, also they need to release stuff like community maps or servers and replays. Some might hate this or say just play cs but they should release some kind of market for skins if possible.
This gotta be the most brain dead take ow2 is definitely a serious competitive game
Both are good in their own games there have been good Val OTs and good cs OTs quit with these dumb threads
I can definitely see some players moving back as well as orgs
Didn’t know he was pressing 4 on defender side as well
Can they add replays not more ways for people to troll
I think so to, just a little nervous because as time moves on so do people's interests, and we've seen games have massive massive popularity like overwatch lose it's popularity over time whether it be to bad updates or metas etc... But I think where its at right now is good, updates have to be good tho and riot have to make good decisions
I think viewership for this game is healthy no need to compare to cs (they are doing very well there as well), do you guys feel tho that this game is still riding a high being that its still new as an esport and as a game and that it could drop off years from now? just curious what everyone thinks
I feel like if they don't perform at the next event they should replace crashies
Jing might actually be the best player in this game currently
both are flukes, cmon now what happen to those teams immediately after the major and grand slam ? very inconsistent reigon for a game that's been out for over a decade.
Where are these threads you speak of, people don't really talk about valorant as much as this site talks about cs
I do feel like tho if they hosted a cs event in NA tomorrow they could fill at least 5k seats, game isn't dead NA just isn't good at it and never has been lmao
LMAO wait all this time for this lan and can't even put it in the right country rip
Yeeeeeaaa no, should be longer instead of instant side flip
No bc European players tend to have more personality and ego making for good matches
I feel like they shouldn’t make big changes to the game until like season is over like end of the year
Val need a few more years to reach this level of passion imo
Franchising isn’t good , and as we have seen in this game top teams can get bounced by unknowns.. putting the org over the players is never a good idea
No not even close, game hasn’t been out long enough for these comparisons yet, he at least gotta get to a final and choke it then get to another one and win it
ya and i mean no hate to the other 2 either but way too much overhyping of small moments and not a lot of analysis of the game, This has been the best casted game this event IMO with great analysis on what is going on and why it is happening instead of just using buzz words and screaming for shock value.
unrelated but damn these casters are so much better than those other 2
can confirm I only skimmed that mf
I disagree, this is a game that really took a lot from cs so I think mechanical skill is easily transferable especially for anyone who is tier 1, and it has, pretty much every big name in val currently came from cs. We also should stop the narrative that Valorant is incredibly difficult to pick up, anyone who has played cs professionally understands util and how to use it and Val agents don't require some sort of genius to use, if s1mple took val seriously like watching pro demos and learning line ups and timings he could easily be a top pro in the scene bcuz his mechanical skill is just insane. And this goes for most cs pros. I do agree that maybe like in a week a cs pro wouldn't just like dominate but give most of them about a few months of non stop grinding and they could.
At least the cs game is competitive this shit was a wash I left after the first game lol next game gotta bring it
oh ya he def is, we've seen this story with tenz before like the dude was absolutely killing it in pugs back in csgo days and got picked up to tier 1 and shrinks under all the pressure.. He has good aim but poor game sense tbh, and enough about him dominating Val in its infancy like that's the past, the scene was still developing, orgs were still just coming in and players that are now on top were then just learning the game. metas weren't as solidified as they are now. Honestly he should just go back to being a streamer where there is less pressure on him. people that have known of him since he entered the scene (csgo days) aren't surprised at all by how his performance currently is.
nah this is definitely better than most coaches, Sean was one of NA's best igls in cs, he was really good at anti stratting and he understood how the game should be played at fundamental level and he knew how to get the best out of his teammates like Ska who is more on the quiet side or n0thing who is louder etc... I have no doubt this team really will become better with him on it, he's not new to the tac fps genre, he's played on big stages before and probably has more experience than most of the scene, I think he'll def make a difference.
