Ez for Quick, I don't care if the igl kills or not, but there are incredible judgment errors and lack of attention. Also, I don't see anything about tactics in the team, amazing coaching... I hope it looks like this because they haven't gotten used to each other yet and this is a temporary process.

Do you think that’s what LVP cares about? They wanted to have the big spanish orgs into the league and that’s what they got. Also it doesn’t matter anymore because teams will only get into the league by promotion system from now on.

Exactly, LVP only cares for their spanish teams and that is whats fucked up, the VRL was for Spain, Portugal and Italy, but top Portuguese and italian teams tweeted that the LVP didnt hand them invite, but invited teams like Bisons or arctics which didnt have a team or Heretics/Mrs which didnt do shit in VCT.

VRL should have been about the best teams, not some bullshit of preference.

Of course they cared about the spanish teams. That’s where 99% of the viewership comes from. Italy and portugal valorant is basically dead, they have very small playerbases. You need viewership to fund these types of league, it’s a business at the end of the day and no one wants to lose money running a league.

Of course. It is understandable they want to guarantee the investment of the teams participating in the league. That's why they invited 9 of the 10 orgs from LVP league in LoL.

It might be a good strategy for the future, and it definitely is. The problem is that it is generally not a good strategy for the present. For that you want the current best teams available right now, and they only left 1 spot available for non-invited teams to qualify. That's the sad part about all of this.

I wished they took a 50%/50% approach. This way you give more chances for talian and/or portuguese teams to qualify (if you don't invite any of them).

Exactly this, yeah they need viewership but Italian and Portuguese viewership is dead cause they have pretty much no league to play in and they had to scatter over the VRL's.

That’s bullshit. Last year both Italy and Portugal had their own circuit and the viewership was very low. Stop trying to find excuses, the game is dead in those countries and nothing will revive it as long as the casual playerbase is small.

You missed my whole point. This is not about the team’s investment, it’s about LVP. They need high viewership to bring in bigger and better sponsors or to keep the ones they already have. Italiand and portuguesse teams don’t bring in any viewership so that is bad for the league. The level of the teams is going to be high anyway because the players will just go to the orgs that are already invited in the league.
