Hiko: EU meta is so bad, Sage is useless
Hiko's team: Uses Team Heretics Comp with Sage, 13-0s EnVy
thank god steel is the igl
Fat_Lard [#6]Huh it's kinda like how he said 100T were gonna sign Ninja to their Valorant team... One again everyone gets baited but also who knows if they are going to stick to this comp
Yeah no i doubt he was trolling
hekzy [#7]Yeah no i doubt he was trolling
So he wasn't trolling yet they literally use an agent he said was trash in the very next game they played after he said that?
Fat_Lard [#8]So he wasn't trolling yet they literally use an agent he said was trash in the very next game they played after he said that?
maybe because hes the third igl? Hes word doesn't weigh as much as Steel and Nitro
Renvas [#10]maybe because hes the third igl? Hes word doesn't weigh as much as Steel and Nitro
I really doubt that it was a coincidence that HiKo says sage sucks and the next time 100T played, Dicey was on sage. The old comp was working so obviously the new comp is to switch things up on their opponents, especially since Envy was the 1 big team that 100T hadn't beaten, so saying sage sucks throws them off even more. HiKo said this very recently and I'm pretty sure they would've been working on the new comp by then so I'm very confident that he was just trying to throw everyone off.
Sean [#9]EU is a level above NA right now. Only teams in NA that impress me are 100T, NV and Sentinels
Here's my not-so-controversial take... If we could have a global LAN after First Strike... this is how I would see it play out.
1 VS(KR)
2 Heretics(EU)
3-4 SUMN
3-4 100T
5 TSM
Just outside: NV(even after getting 13-0'd it was a comp issue) SEN(TALENT), G2 (great coaches).
It's based on the thought behind their strategies both on defense and offense. VS is the only team I've seen with both mechanics and thought behind what they do. Everyone below them can't find a way to put those things together.

VS would get destroyed... EU and NA teams are way more talented and obviously watch a lot of VS with the amount of strats they "steal" from VS. Also this is assuming NA and EU would play out the same way as First Strike did with Heretics, Sumn, 100T and TSM outperforming the likes of G2, FPX, Sen and NV. Also I'm sure a Brazilian team(likely Gamelanders) would be up there as well.

Idk why people overrate Korea so much. I think you are being carried away by the fact they were so influencial in Overwatch. People need to learn that this is a tactical fps and moreover, they need to look at vision strikers and realize that they are mostly made up of csgo players who were just not good enough to ever compete.

They get hype because they are tactically the best team in the world and have some of the best executes in the game. I'm sure you've seen the Ascent play where on defense, Jett dashes down mid while breach flashes and 2 players crunch the players at B main. That's from VS. Also they haven't lost so that's another reason they get so much hype. They're definitely a top 10 team in the world imo but I think that teams like G2, FPX, 100T, Sen, TSM and more have way too much firepower for VS to be the best team.

but you think cheaters could perform like online on LAN? Heretics looks sus af! theres a reason why a known cheater plays sova. "Oh, my recon dart revealed you! so it wasnt WH!" "Uh, my Drone just spottet you! No WH Bro!"
uGRAVEL [#13]They're legit mind gaming their opponents. They streamed today and let nitr0 call. Notice who called for icebox at the end? I'm sure they didn't view this tournament as serious since they just won first strike. Essentially free money, why not play?
if you think they didnt play serious, i feel bad for you! you know for the org the only thing that matters is a WIN! If you think like "Uh we won first strike, we dont need this really" the org will ask you to leave and troll somewhere else! this people get paid to perform their best and not to chill while they get paid. you can trust me theres no team that is like "uh we so good, we can afford to lose a small cup". for me valorant pro scene havent even started yet. it looks like we only got the sorted out trash players from other games for Valorant scene. And its funny enough that a EU Team full of nonames dominate EU with a known troll cheater in their roster.

Have you seen SUMN? They have insane executes where you need to pause the play to even understand what is going on, every peek is calculated and every smoke flash and ulti there in order to clear out every corner. Check the game eXiLes Vs SUMN. I think that is the best tactical game I've seen in valorant.

I guess what I don't get by your response is that you say they will "get destroyed" and talk about how EU and NA have way more firepower... but only 3 posts below this one, "They get hype because they are tactically the best team in the world and have some of the best executes in the game."
I mean... thank you for proving my argument? I mean unless you think individually talent over team play, if so, this isn't useful.

They had a week's notice. You think that a team with a weeks notice is going to prepare on the same level as First Strike? It has nothing to do with trolling, it's literally a lack of time to practice.
And yeah Nitr0 calling defaults is not the same thing as Steel calling. They were trying things out. It's not about "playing serious" they will always play serious. It has more to do with the lack of time to actually practice. Then you went ape shit on my post and started talking about EU? I'm packing my shit and not coming back to comment lol... yal r weird.

Did you not read the rest of my post? NA and EU teams watch a lot of VS games and steal their strats. They would 100% be ready for their executes. Their tactical advantage won't matter since the NA and EU teams would know what's coming. With that being said maybe they wouldn't get destroyed but they certainly wouldn't be the best team in the world.

HAHAHHAHA nice one :)
People are really underrating asian valorant lmao. Yall saying asia dont have enough firepower to contend with EU and NA hahaha. In a game like valorant, firepower is not as important which is very evident as there are alot of ex cs pros who are good right now who before hand was never good enough to reach the highest tier of cs. Vision strikers play valorant as if its literally science lmao, every single thing calculated to a point where the fight is always advantageous to them regardless of who has the better aim. Vision strikers will be a top 10 team in the world at minimum.

i have watched every VS match from FS and im gonna be honest, they hella bad, the only thing they do correctly are the comps, copy pasted from EU teams. their aim and gamesense are terrible (lack of CS experience) and their tactics are the same pug tactics you see in NA matches

To be fair you only see their tactics in NA and EU because they stole it from VS and also I don't know what you mean pug tactics, they were the first team to actually start properly combining the utility of their agents to do a play whether on attack or defense. With that being said every NA/EU team has probably watched A TON of VS games and would read them like a book if they played against them.

You kidding? I doubt Ange1 and other EU IGLs are copying some randomers who couldn't make it to tier1000 cs.
Also, combining abilities and certain agent comps were prevalent way before VS could even beat AAA in Asia. They are the point of the game xd
First to properly introduce viper? EU
First usage of duelist sage? EU
Breach meta? EU
1 duelist comp, EU
I meanKorea are still to realize Reyna is agarbage agent

1st off being the 1st to do something doesn't mean too much. Nobody was properly using Breach until VS and now everybody has perfected the VS flash and dash which no team was doing before VS who pretty much perfected the timing of it and combined other elements to have some great plays. Everytime you see on Ascent the play where Jett dashes down mid while breach flashes and 1 or 2 players push up B main, that is copied from VS. Just watch Sideshow's video on their executes and you'll realize just how many are used in NA and EU play now. Also this is not cs so I don't know why you are bringing that up. I also said properly combining abilities, meaning doing more complex things with more abilities than the simple combinations of utility at the time(like a slow orb + nade or something simple like that).

Watch eXiLes Vs SUMN fc pls. And find out how tactically complex even tier2 eu teams are.
Breach was first used by FPX so idk wtf you talking about. In fact I'd say the VS playbook is just copying fpx.
Idek why im arguing about this, in 3 months VS is going to be stomped and the myth of the regions will be revealed, much like cs

I never said EU wasn't tactically complex I just said that VS were the first team(or one of the first) to actually use complex tactics, a lot of which are used in NA and EU today and once again sure, Vs might not have been the first to use Breach but they were the first to use him correctly with simple things like a flash and dash. And yes, I said(maybe not here) that VS would get destroyed due to a lack of firepower and the fact that NA and EU teams know their strats.
