After both of the last two LAN tourneys Vision striker didn't exactly live up to the hype, why does everyone think their some kind of team that can challenge EMEA, when they finish behind other teams from APAC

trillboylil [#2]I think we’ll find out more about this in the playoffs - what if C9 and Fnatic end up in the finals? They were both in the group with VS and the matchup with them was super close. Otherwise, you’re right, they’re overhyped.
Honestly I think people completely overestimated everyone in that group, no-one was really expected to win the event from that group, and i think (maybe bias) that Cloud nine will be owned by Liquid, and Fnatic could make it to finals, but are most likely beaten by Gambit if not KRU

I can't see how you can consider Acend an S tier team given how shaky they looked and considering VS completely dominated them in Berlin.

Captain hindsight here, but looking at the results now, group A was the real group of death with x10 NV and Acend, vivo keyd were good too but i feel like they crumbled during the x10 game

Bruh, in masters Berlin, vision strikers were the only ones to take a map off Gambit other than 100t. Like they are not overrated. Well maybe a tiny bit., but they are definitely S level. Like they could have probably defeated both envy and sentinels and last time they destroyed ascend. Why do people just forget all of this? They definetly got fucked by the group. Probably the most unlucky team yet.

People just like to hate for no reason and act like they get 2-0'd at every event, when in reality most of their games are 2-1 with close results that could go either way.

Also they are a young squad consisting of [18 - 21 Year Olds] i'd give them at least a couple more years before they find their footing. This is there second international Lan also don't forget about that.

taking a map off doesnt mean much when they got destroyed on the other 2 (13-2 and 13-8 even winning both pistols). their map pool matched up well against gambit, thats it.

they were the only team to take a map off gambit in masters and the final map was close as well. this time around it was kind of questionable, but honestly prob from lack of preparation for their group and probably focused on teams like gmb. they always started off slow and caught off guard then adjusted accordingly
