Many languages are like this. English words are replacing some of them

90% of languages are like this to some degree, for exemple it's particularly "shocking" in japanese

Certain words, especially for someone that's bilingual can always jumble someone's perception of the language.

Mixing languages and words aren't a novel thing, especially when there's a lot of borrowed words and someone using it in a second or third language.

some terms is just too much of a hassle to translate, casters use english ones because its easier and the viewers also understand
some examples (in valorant context ofc) :
swing = mengayun
plant = memasang
flank = membelakangi

Depend on the context.. for sport or E-sport from outside of Indonesia in general we Indonesian rarely translated the game "term" into Indonesian and just use the common term used by the majority which are in english..
Example, in badminton we use the english term like Smash, net shot, Serve, backhand, flick, etc in english instead of translating all of them into Indonesian.
