If Tejo wasn’t added into the game would NRG have done better at kickoff/Madrid?

100T and NRG had the same problem this year pre-Stage 2

not really, 100t were one bug away from toronto, NRG were fighting for a spot in playoffs at best

Just cause we had a walking ult orb on our team, doesn't mean we weren't also one bug away from Toronto

boostio was definitely a problem but imo 100t's real issue during split1 wasn't him but rather their roles/ comps

100% but given they had to cut a player immediately after it wouldnt have been that much better, there were clearly internal problems

While it's easy to point to individual changes like Tejo's addition, it's unlikely that NRG's performance at Kickoff or Madrid would have significantly improved without him. The challenges they faced appear to stem more from broader team dynamics and a noticeable decline in form among some of the more experienced players. At this stage, it seems less about a single roster move and more about a core that may no longer be performing at the level expected in such a competitive environment.

For any game, you need to master the meta, raw talent, and shooting ability will not win you championships, that's for certain!
