Is it me or there was much like much bigger hype before Masters than before this Champions?

Is it because the "first LAN" and EU NA rivalry is not that intense anymore?

I was more hyped for Iceland masters, because it was the first time that the regions would face each other. But, i think Champions is much more hyped than Berlin and it will be in the future the biggest/more hyped tourney for valorant.

Masters 2 had more hype but master 3 had less hype, it's kind of in a really weird middle ground especially because all these negative tweets and statements are coming out from the players which kind of takes away from the hype of it.

I dont have any expectations and I want to be impressed, best way to start the tournament as a viewer

The down time between champions and the last event is the longest, so I can see why you might feel that way and there's also no drama between teams this time like G2 and Sentinels previously.

Marved saying PCs suck, leaf replying to it agreeing, pros on stream saying they get FPS drops consistently, I also think I read a report about pros complaining about something but I could just be misremembering something

I used to be a huge CS fan, went to IEM Katowice once, and it was amazing.

But, nowadays CS is dead for me. Is only EU vs EU. NA dropped CS, BR does not have great teams anymore, and we barely see other regions trying as we did with Turkey, China and Australia.

In the other hand, Valorant is really nice to see, because we had 2 different regions winning the majors, korea has always one nice team to compete, Latin America have been fun to watch with KRU, and i still hope that BR will become competitive one day...

So I dont agree at all.

my favorite team is still somehow holding on unlike most of the other teams so I kinda understand you. Seems like some NA valorant pros are getting bored and coming back though, so hopefully NA cs will be revived, right now it's represented by BR teams lol

they had a sick music video, a sick song and a sick skin like for it plus NA/TURALS getting north american viewers hype

naw feels more hyped this time around honestly and we're still a week out from the event. hopefully better for players as well to go along with all the insane things riot's been bringing out (music vid/song, skins, video series, etc.), really looking forwards to it
