Thoughts?
EpicGamerGamingEpicly [#3]good for him, let him do what makes him happy
Or what gives him money, you never really know the motivations behind some actions
Noone12 [#8]Does this means we might see Steel back in the main roster?
Steel already going to T1. 100T management fucked up bad.
Considering Nitro is switching to csgo there can be only 2 things, that could be the best NA cs team in a long time(highly unlikely) or they will disband and Nitro will be left at a place too hard to recover from. I can't think of a way anything happening in between but maybe my cs knowledge is outdated
crazy_igel_fan [#10]Steel already going to T1. 100T management fucked up bad.
hasn't been confirmed yet since they're "in talks" but its likely I guess

Man can move to EU if that happens
ciro [#18]Man can move to EU if that happens
It will be hard considering he has a wife and baby yoda
valulrantefanboy [#6]washed up player switched to Valorant (CS frogs said that)---->Switched back (even more washed) to CS top team ---> Val>CS confirmed ???
lol
Superex [#14]Switching to the superior game. Smart move
i though cs fans called him washed up player?
ciro [#18]Man can move to EU if that happens
I doubt teams would pick nitr0 up, he hasn't played CS professionally in a year plus he was trending downhill when he switched.
heart3 [#25]Wait, what is this roster, this is so random LOL:
- Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
- Nick "nitr0" Cannella
- Richard "shox" Papillon
- Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo
ikr

It will be tough to establish a synergy between the players. Also does Shox and Vini speak English? Comms will be a big problem in this team.

I don't know about Shox, but Vini does since he lives in NA. But will Liquid give them time to play together tho? I can't see this roster being better than the old one for a while.

NA csgo was dead a long time ago. This roster at best is 10% chance of the redemption arc

Team Liquid is rebuilding. Stewie and Fallen are leaving.

bro its 2021 how is shox being considered to be a part of a rebuild? he has had a wonderful career but sorry liquid aint winning anything with shox. i can understand vini because he is good anchor but shox no way.
arT_fan [#30]Team Liquid is rebuilding. Stewie and Fallen are leaving.
Nitro's career was already rolling down hill. If somehow he is given a shot at igling it would make matters even worse due to his outdated knowledge of current meta and poor performance. A recipe for perfect disaster

shox's english is fine. at least so much better than JaCkz's lol.

doesnt make sense
PotatoCh1ps [#35]Shox and vini don't make any sense either
Vini kinda makes sense because TL doesn't have a good support player. Shox not so much.
PotatoCh1ps [#35]Shox and vini don't make any sense either
Prolly getting washed players cuz they are popular
ciro [#37]Prolly getting washed players cuz they are popular
french fans + brazillian fans + na fans on hopium ez money
arT_fan [#36]Vini kinda makes sense because TL doesn't have a good support player. Shox not so much.
Vini wasn't performing that well. Also the synergy game would be worse and his macro play was average at best
PotatoCh1ps [#39]Vini wasn't performing that well. Also the synergy game would be worse and his macro play was average at best
who do you think is better than him in the support role then? Much more so from NA?
arT_fan [#41]who do you think is better than him in the support role then? Much more so from NA?
Lol they can bring shox from france but can't bring a better support player than vini with Lulquid money
valulrantefanboy [#6]washed up player switched to Valorant (CS frogs said that)---->Switched back (even more washed) to CS top team ---> Val>CS confirmed ???
Those who call people frogs tend to be a frog themselves.
Thunder1 [#5]but why he switched to cs In a dead region
NA CS isn’t really that dead. It’s in a rebuilding phase realistically. The casual scene is fine but competitively it’s just newer players getting the opportunity now that they wouldn’t have before.
NA CS created a bubble for itself before Valorant existed. Hopefully the same doesn’t happen in val.

Extra Salt is picking up a few wins against teams outside of NA and more NA teams like Party Astronauts and RBG are getting the chance to compete in Europe, this is only good for NA. I don't think it will ever be at its' peak again but it's slowly but surely healing
ItsMeDio [#21]i though cs fans called him washed up player?
only NA CS haters
Cuz he's not washed lol he's still got a few years in him
valulrantefanboy [#6]washed up player switched to Valorant (CS frogs said that)---->Switched back (even more washed) to CS top team ---> Val>CS confirmed ???
lol truest comment ever.

Well the problems with NA CS is that players in the scene were always the worst problem. They cared more about egos and reputation more than winning and orgs left when time after time players failed to show results. Imagine how different the NA cs scene would be if it were different. That’s the problem I could see happening in NA VAL. You can already see it with some players. It is a rebuilding phase for NA so we will see how it goes.
When do you think the peak of NA was?

I feel like the peak of NA was the second half of 2019

Liquid grand slam run and EG dominated as well yeah good time
Larry [#60]Liquid grand slam run and EG dominated as well yeah good time
i mean not only that, there were many orgs invested in NA CS and some t2 NA teams made a deep run in a few tournaments
Mortadelo [#7]Or what gives him money, you never really know the motivations behind some actions
Mans got a family to support, sometime you gotta go for the money (If that's why he would move)
HeyClassic [#65]Mans got a family to support, sometime you gotta go for the money (If that's why he would move)
Yeah, that’s what I mean. It’s completely fine to take the money instead of the work that makes you happier, it is what it is. It’s what people with regular jobs is forced to do most of the times anyway. Or maybe is true and he just likes Cs a lot more, I was just saying that you shouldn’t assume things, you never really know…
Thunder1 [#5]but why he switched to cs In a dead region
i think that Nitr0 get a better offer in csgo than valorant

Very true my mans
VeLooZ [#70]i think that Nitr0 get a better offer in csgo than valorant
He’s getting paid 25k a month or something in 100T
Neon74 [#61]i mean not only that, there were many orgs invested in NA CS and some t2 NA teams made a deep run in a few tournaments
Covid fucked NA
ItsMeDio [#21]i though cs fans called him washed up player?
he's not really washed he had a burnout at the start of the online era
heart3 [#25]Wait, what is this roster, this is so random LOL:

what happen with Stew ,fallen, grim?
Will Stew will switch to Valolrant?
VeLooZ [#77]how about in csgo? how much?
most t1 players getting paid 20-40k a month.
depends on the org but considering its Liquid. Probably 30-40k a month.
VeLooZ [#79]what happen with Stew ,fallen, grim?
Will Stew will switch to Valolrant?
FalleN most likely to some BR team or he's gonna remain teamless for some time
NAF and Stew most likely not switching to Valorant, the report is they will go to EG who are rebuilding their roster
