taking a look at each player's history, why did GE pick him of all people to sign?
At least Kr1stal won Ascension and UdoTan lost in the finals against him, I guess Papi and kellyS were in the Philippines finals. But patrickWHO ??
In no world would I take a look at his history and accolades and say, "Yep. He can play in Tier 1 valorant"
So did GE run out of money or does he have connections

he is very good with neon basically aggressive ankle breaking duelist and he did well in their trials so they decided to develop their own young talent than taking an experienced duelist

IF only we can see him play those duelists, especially if Neon is viable on split

His neon is good but uk I have been saying since off season GE overhypes , their fans buy it and then end up abusing their own players later instead of keeping realistic expectations.

You see the off season event GE did ran trucks over every mid team by inviting them and then JA solo'ed whole GE playing ISO which wasnt even NAOS comp since they had to hide comp for split 3 match next day and JA actually was on smokes back then.
Heck even Venka whom GE themselves rejected in trials early on diffed him even though patrick was on better ping but I didn't judge him then bcz it was too early just asked my countrymates to be realistic and they downvoted me xd.

yeah I had more or less the same idea. But the problem is even if he had great stats, his experience before being signed to GE was limited to playing against Tier 2 Filipino teams at best (such as NAOS, OAS, ZOL), which he never won against. The jump from that to playing against the best of the best from Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, surely would be too overwhelming.
Putting young talent such as him straight to international level matches without prior experience is not the best way of developing them, plus it is a sure way of increasing your team's losses.

and also who the hell did he face in trials? I know for sure those opponents he faced are not on par with players of NS, TLN, ZETA, etc. Why would they take a gamble with an inexperienced player instead of searching for others who are proven to be able to face and even win against Ascension-level teams. There are plenty from SG, ID, and also better ones from PH.

apparently he was pretty good in trials, but I guess his skill doesn't translate well to the actual stage..

Looks like he abused broken neon

HE could still play Neon on Split, legit the only agent that could work on him if he does well.. Either way, a duelist is bad if they can only play a single dueling agent
