riot age restriction

riot needs to change the age restriction in VCT asap, no shot 2g wins ascension and one of their best players spike can't even play yet and has to come back to a roster that only has 2/5 of the original members left. Just imagine if TH didn't find the success they did in kickoff and one of the rookies left before wo0t could join that would be fucked up lowk.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it would be complicated but there are work arounds, technically orgs can change player's contracts who are under 18 to not compensate pay for practice time and instead just give them the total amount during official matches. That way the practice times wouldn't be counted as "working hours" and instead the 3-4 hours during official games would be counted instead which abides with cali's child labor laws and riot's salary laws.

Alongside that people from other countries can just get P-1A visas to get into the country too which allows minors

It’s cuz how different it is in different countries. US is a lot more open to it than other countries + a lot of them are in country so no work visas

its not like Fortnite where u can play online
