That interview NRG put out was 100% a bit. Verno seems like a good kid and I'm glad he's getting his chance to redeem himself on MIBR. I honestly lost a lost of respect for NRG the way they have handled Marved, Chet, Demon1, Bonkar, and Verno the past year. You can of course say they weren't performing but this org has zero patience and wants to win everything immediately without going through adversity and it's why they'll never win anything.

it's just so fucking weird to because nrg as an org stuck it out with their failing rocket league rosters and the dips in the sf shock rosters for years, but they just refuse to let their valorant team evolve

It’s bizarre, and I’d be furious if I were an NRG fan. Choosing FNS and s0m — two guys who have been very public about retiring — over the most hyped-up NA prospect since Zekken is insane. It also seemed like Mada didn’t get along with Verno, but he shouldn’t have the power to get a player of Verno’s caliber removed, or any other player for that matter.

I think you all will be good down the line, NRG is an org willing to spend and put high salary teams together but that will only happen once FNS and s0m are no longer on the team. FNS lowers the team’s ceiling significantly. His IGLing is solid, but you just can’t win with his mechanics in 2025 and it seems like he has no interest in developing or growing with a team at this point.

Fns is a 0.9 kd low elo bot at this point, if nrg weren't stupid they would have bought nAts' contract and never cut verno but unlucky.

I hope MIBR destroys them in a few weeks. The players and org are clowns for constantly making content about an 18 year old kid getting dropped. They even made an entire mini-doc highlighting it. Absolute clowns.

ig verno wasnt playing well but mada has been pretty inconsistent like at soop league he was like average or even slightly worse at sen city he look insane then kickoff he was amazing first game back he was mid

how did they fail their Rocket League roster they were like the Sen of Rocket League and won worlds, and they are one of the favorites going into the major next week after signing one of the best teams

i'm not saying they failed, i'm saying they stuck with the core for years even through middling and tragic results, especially after covid year/rlcs x they fell off hard (remember 2022 when they got 4-0d by v1 in groups and then visually struggled against renegades?), and nrg still gave the roster chances with minor tweaks

it's this level of trust/time to develop that I just don't see at all with the valorant roster, and it just seems odd to me

but yeah signing the g2 roster was a great move and i hope we perform at birmingham
