my current monitor is 1080p and im looking to upgrade to 1440p because my new setup would be able to handle it
only concern is not being used to it + ive heard the enemies appear smaller + the distance you move your mouse would be different and all etc

what do u guys use + thoughts

I upgraded my PC, monitor, every peripheral for my birthday last year and going from a 250 dollar shitbox setup with a 1080p monitor to a 1440p monitor with a better PC was lifechanging.

im hearing people say that in reddit and yt comments etc. like in 720p in ow for example the enemy thickness is larger. im asking if that carries over

personal preference, try it out if you dont like it just return it. personally i downgraded from my 1440p to 1080p i didnt like that everything felt smaller. to be fair i also play true stretched anyways so it never mattered but using it for normal task didnt feel right with me.

idk i feel like you can adapt to anything really, but personally i prefer stretched anyways regardless of the monitor im on so it will never change. although having more pixels and downsizing to a lower res makes the game looks more like shit. i personally like 1920x1080 with a 1440x1080 stretch res.

my personal experience was that the difference didnt seem that major when i made the change, but after a month of using 1440p, 1080p looked so terrible that it was off putting, for valorant the difference isnt that crazy tho
