I wouldnt say it gets better, if you like it, you will love it. if you dont like it, you will think its meh.

Personally its the anime that got me back into anime (I stopped for like a year)

I just love every character, every joke hits for me, and although its cringy it balances it so well. I wouldnt rate it above a 5 in plot but the enjoyability for me was easily a 10
