it takes zero effort for him to respond to zeeks tweet giving his opinion and a LOT of effort to come up with an entire plan on how to save the t2 scene

he has NEVER responded to any of the complaints made by orgs since the start of franchising........... And hes been very vocal on other issues. i dont see why he cant do the same with T2.

that was 30 seconds of very very very vague information after losing one of the longest standing orgs in valorant emea (acend).

They are quite literally ignoring it tho. Pros and orgs have been screaming out for a change for a while and nothing major has been done.

Ngl what are they supposed to do about orgs leaving they can't just dump money into random shit people don't watch if more people paid attention to t2 instead of complaining extensively they would prioritise it more but it's on the orgs and on people to do that now (the schedule changes make it really easy to watch t2)

they kinda created this mess themselves? 2023 had a lot of people watching and it has been reducing year by year with the first change being ascension spots reduced to 1 year.

t2 wasnt dead from the start but has been slowly dying from no changes btw. org owners have come out and said that they havent been able to properly communicate with riot.

Communication with riot does seem like a problem to be fair but also how do we know there aren't other reasons for t2 being dead I think riot is less at fault than you'd think but they are definitely somewhat responsable

there could be other issues yes but i think ascend and GoNext both wrote out long ass tweets and articles regarding the eco system in t2.

They need to find a better way to promote tier 2 tbh, and I feel like you can put that responsibility somewhat on Riot
Like we've seen ascension numbers and they're actually pretty decent, it'd just be nice if they put as much effort in to the rest of the tier 2 calendar

I guess so but I really do feel like they've done everything that makes sense the only things I can think of changing are having riot themselves organising stuff and I guess prize pools (where the money is supposed to come from idk)
