All Chinese teams have crazy good aimers—that’s not the problem. The issue is their strats and the sheer number of mistakes they make. They always try to take gunfights, don’t use utility well, and are sometimes overconfident or even trolling. China is all about aim, nothing else. They play with bronze-level game sense at times and don’t follow the book.

When they play Ascent, they’re actually a really scary team. If they can fix their strats, they’ll be unstoppable.

I don't think their strats are the problem per se, it's their adaptability and foresight, like that one round they just pushed garage dry not expecting resistance at all and 3 players got paranoia'd. You could scratch this up to not enough international experience, but it's the Coach's job to get them up to speed on the teams they'll be playing against in Bangkok, especially with the prep time given to them. It's looking like a lack of prep entirely and Trace are just autopiloting how they usually play against international enemies like how they usually play Chinese teams. They have a lot of talent, but it's on the coach to bring that out and boost their potential

id say only EDG and FPX have great aimers (Dragon Ranger has some gifted players too but thats beside the point), domestically Trace is more of a structured team that executes a lot (thats why Kai looks so good on home soil) but i think that at an international level their strats are just easier to read and teams are already used to this kind of T side (think of APAC having to deal with PRX or RRQ which are very execute heavy teams with strong aimers).
I think trace just got outstratted and while i think they have some interesting players (Heybay, Kei, FengF) they need to evolve and start playing better comps and layer their game into a real team before they can start doing well at big events consistently

Their strategy isn't true strategy they good if they can counter a team but they cannot adapt on the fly at all. Thats why they look good domestically. If something goes wrong they do not have to confidence to adjust. I feel like they're not use to the world stage. You need to adapt in valorant.

Lol, anyone can get first kills and a good KD, man. Use your brain. I’m not saying KangKang is bad—he’s a mid rifler. Nobody looks good in these Masters, honestly. I’m talking about his past matches, like at Champions. He’s a great aimer, I know. FPX has 3 great aimers, and EDG has 2 or 3.
