If Trace lose and EDG make top 3 in playoffs can we start considering China a one team region?
supr [#3]every region is a 1 team region right now. the 1st seeds are in another universe compared to the 2nd
I'd disagree T1 and DRX are pretty close but every other region is but I think the largest gap is with China

g2 sen are quite close in mid off. That 3-2 game was enough sign that G2 is just getting overrated.

from what we saw with the rest of the games it kinda looked like a peak sen game and a lower tier G2 game. That being said, I still think china does have the largest gap rn

nah G2 is miles ahead at times the upper final wasn't even close its just known to be hard to beat a team twice in a row since they know your strats that's why the final was close
Ronyko23 [#4]Trace is not second best chinese team(exp carried them). Its like sen situation in na. I'll take loud & nova over them ngl.Cn gonna surprise everyone with their top 3 in master 2.
nova over trace? wtf are you on, wait nvm your baiting

Explain how nova is better LMAO, and i swear if you say cause they beat them in an offseason event 4 months ago I will geniunely off myself

nova won the cn evo act 1 and looked insane

bcs the better teams werent there, they should do it in a real event

Just tell me you aren't following. If you actually watch the matches you can see how good their protocols are
Huuuuugo [#12]EDG > Vitality > G2 > DRX > T1 >> Sentinels > Team Liquid >>Trace
Trace is obviously better than TL
xSaneZ [#17]Just tell me you aren't following. If you actually watch the matches you can see how good their protocols are
I said explain how nova is better, not some dumb bluff without reason. "Protocols" lmao. Like i want to know why they are better despite not qualing. They arent even using meta comps. Yea i dont follow fucking nova esports, the fuck? Its obvious they arent gonna qual shit

my brother edg played jett on split you dont need to play meta comps to win its how you use the comp u have look at rankers

lets look at prx

instead of going for my flair like the virgin vlr user u are, how about u think of a constructive argument before trying to lash out because of your insecurities?
Laundry [#7]from what we saw with the rest of the games it kinda looked like a peak sen game and a lower tier G2 game. That being said, I still think china does have the largest gap rn
TE looked the closest to their first seed alongside T1 in kickoff

what? you said meta comps dont matter. your flair just happened to be an example. seem like your the insecure one. and chill with your projections, your telling me too much info about yourself i dont care about.

Real take

Rankers are going off of comfortability like putting demon1 in 2023 on jett on every map just like eggster right now with yoru. But I will say that running Jett Raze has been meta on split or been popular for some teams for quite a while

yes, jett AND raze. solo jett is like a 2021 idea

in 2023, d1 was only put on jett on maps where jett was viable and flex on other maps. if youre talking about tokyo, then i agree. however, during their champs run, d1 was put on roles as mentioned above. also, split has evolved since 2023 and last year it was the raze skye omen viper cypher meta and jett has not returned as a viable agent in split so far
GambleNats [#24]TE looked the closest to their first seed alongside T1 in kickoff
They were the only team that didn't go to 5 matches in their grand final game and were only competitive on the first 3 maps.
GambleNats [#24]TE looked the closest to their first seed alongside T1 in kickoff
but they 13-0d the dragon guys 😢
fr tho i've been counting that trace win against edg as an outlier because of how well edg played in the gf with map ban disadvantage. that might be delulu considering how small the sample is to already call an outlier but still
GodAwfulGod [#30]They were the only team that didn't go to 5 matches in their grand final game and were only competitive on the first 3 maps.
and they legitimately look like they could win all 3 maps, and honestly deserved to win (just based on macro alone) all 3 maps if EDG didnt win so many hero rounds. like of course trace is gonna look deflated after losing abyss to a single guy dropping 30 as the igl.
other regions (excluding pacific) like liquid or sen won on the maps they prepped well to a strong degree and lost to the maps the other maps to a strong degree, not a single of those maps were actually close. There was no point in time where you could think the second seed could actually close of the gf (no I dont mean "oh liquid won 2 maps, they will win" I mean a series where liquid/sen looked good enough to win a full 3 maps if a few tiny things went their way)
TE completely macro diffed EDG on every map except fracture (again in kickoff, I think EDG look much much better macro wise)
loapoarg [#20]If that oolong guy hits aimlabs
Cn will be a two team region
00long aim is weird asf. Bro shoots on one map Then instant double negative on other. But team is way too stacked on firepower with ezier. OOlong can chill just throw good util.
GodAwfulGod [#30]They were the only team that didn't go to 5 matches in their grand final game and were only competitive on the first 3 maps.
yeah but they were also the only seed 2 team that actually beat the seed 1 team in kickoff so idk what point you are making

I'm not saying he was but it was a viable idea based off how good he was on Jett
washedradiant [#25]what? you said meta comps dont matter. your flair just happened to be an example. seem like your the insecure one. and chill with your projections, your telling me too much info about yourself i dont care about.
lemme explain. Nova is basically last year fpx minus troll comps & good strat. They just got new player ezier thanos on smokes. And now they have 4 players cb guan g swerl that can drop insane numbers. Only their igl 0o0o0 can't shoot back. So you can expect big things with nova in this year..
